As we saw on our trip, it's a great time of year to see bears, deer, and mountain sheep grazing along the roadways in our national parks. Animal crossings and wildlife fences help, but drivers must still be alert for wild animals. On the Icefields Parkway, an entire herd of bighorns stood in the road.
